Independent Artist Information

An independent artist is someone who creates and sells their art without regular support or involvement from an agency or organization.

  • There are no rental fees for independent artists – registration is completely free.

  • You can attend either both days, or just one. A selection needs to be made when you register.

  • Your sale tags and artist biography will be done for you and available on the day of the show.

  • If you are a returning artist, we can use your previous biography, or you can submit a new one when you register.

  • Space is limited to one half of a table that will be shared with other artists and/or half of one side of a wall.

  • If you are selling five or less pieces that hang, you do not need to register for wall space. We will hang your pieces in a shared space.

  • Volunteers are available to assist with set up – if you need help, please make that selection when you register.

  • Volunteers are available to provide breaks (up to 30 minutes) during the show. There are food options in the area, or you can bring your own food. Please note that there is no fridge or microwave.

  • You can decide if you would like to take your own payments, or if you would like posAbilities to take payments for you. If you select posAbilities to take your payments, a cheque will be mailed to you approximately one month after the show.

We respectfully acknowledge that our work in supporting good and full lives for everyone, takes place on the ancestral territories of the Coast Salish and Interior Salish peoples, including the xÊ·mÉ™θkwÉ™y̓əm, Skwxwú7mesh, and SÉ™lílwÉ™taÊ”/Selilwitulh nations. We are grateful for their care and teachings about the land, water, sky and life that they sustain. May we honour these teachings by accelerating equity, embracing diversity, and fostering inclusion in the communities where we live and work.
