INCLUSION Art Show

Vancouver’s INCLUSION Art Show & Sale Champions Artists with Diverse Abilities
Vancouver, BC – On October 22-23, the 21st Annual INCLUSION Art Show & Sale returns to the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre for a vibrant celebration of social inclusion and diversity. The event will now span two full days and feature the extraordinary talents of artists from Metro Vancouver, many of whom live with intellectual/developmental disabilities, or who identify as neurodivergent. With the support of more than 40 independent artists and 14 studios, the Roundhouse will be transformed into a gallery of art — paintings, pottery, jewelry, textiles, photography, and more.
Organized annually by posAbilities in recognition of Community Inclusion Month, this year’s event promises a vibrant and emotionally resonant experience, with artists sharing personal stories of growth, connection, and creative expression. Every piece tells the story of its creator and is available for purchase, with proceeds going directly to the artists.

This year, we’re honoured to present an Indigenous Art Showcase, celebrating the voices and creative visions of Indigenous artists within our community. This special addition highlights diverse artistic expressions rooted in cultural heritage, storytelling and contemporary perspectives. Some featured artists include:
-
Deidre Snow – an artist supported by Alternative Creations Studio, who expresses the joy and energy of her vibrant lifestyle through her art, which features heart-filled drawings, home-made cards, paper flowers, and abstract paintings.
-
Ryley Jensen Fisk – an artist supported by PotteryWorks, originally from the Gitx'san Nation whose designs often reflect her heritage. “It’s something I feel very passionate about. I’m trying to carry on my family legacy through my art.”
